Stir-Fried Shrimp with Edamame Recipe

Ingredients for Stir-Fried Shrimp with Edamame: Edamame 150g, Fresh Shrimp 150g, Red Pepper a small piece, Chopped Chili 1 teaspoon, Salt, Chicken Flavor Powder, Pepper, Cornstarch, Shredded Ginger, Minced Garlic.
Method: Step 1: Remove the head, shell, and tail of the fresh shrimp, extract the shrimp vein, and marinate with salt, pepper, and a small amount of cornstarch for 10 minutes (the weight of the shrimp refers to the weight after peeling). Step 2: Clean the edamame and blanch in boiling water until cooked, then set aside. Step 3: Shred ginger, mince garlic, and cut a small piece of red pepper into diamond shapes (the addition of red pepper is only for the dish’s appearance and can be omitted).

Step 4: Heat oil in a pan, pour in the shrimp and stir-fry until it changes color. Step 5: Add shredded ginger and minced garlic, then season with 1 teaspoon of chopped chili sauce and stir well. Step 6: Finally, add the red pepper and blanched edamame and stir-fry together, season with a little salt and chicken flavor powder to taste. Step 7: Cooking tips for Stir-Fried Shrimp with Edamame – Shrimp cooks quickly, so edamame should be blanched first before stir-frying with shrimp to prevent overcooked shrimp and undercooked edamame.

It is best to buy live shrimp and peel them yourself, rather than using frozen shrimp. Chopped chili is already spicy, and the addition of red pepper is only for the dish’s appearance, so choose a non-spicy variety of red pepper, and the quantity does not need to be much, a small piece is enough, or it can be omitted.
