Steamed Egg with Minced Pork and Chinese Yam Recipe

Ingredients for Steamed Egg with Minced Pork and Chinese Yam: Minced pork 150g, Chinese yam 50g, Scallion and ginger water 6 tablespoons, Sweet potato flour 2 tablespoons, Light soy sauce 1 tablespoon, Oyster sauce half tablespoon, MSG 2g, Chopped green onions a handful, Egg 1.
Method: Step 1: Combine minced pork and mashed Chinese yam in a bowl. Step 2: Add all seasonings, using scallion and ginger water to remove the fishy smell. Step 3: Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined and spread in a dish. Step 4: Make a hole in the center, crack an egg into it, and break the yolk. Cover and microwave for 8 minutes. Step 5: Remove, pour in water, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and heat for another 2 minutes. Alternatively, steam for 15 minutes. Microwave power varies, so adjust the time accordingly.
